MINDFULNESS & SELF COMPASSION SUPPORT GROUP
WITH DR. ANNA
Follow this link to register for the 5:30 group and here to register for the 7:15 group.
This wonderful group provides the opportunity to connect with others and share our common human experience. Sharing my story and listening to others was so helpful for me. I learned many practical ways to think differently about my problems, connect with my body and began to recognize and honor what I feel.
Hard on yourself? Self-critical? Perfectionistic? Giving to everyone except yourself? If you answered yes to any of the above, this small group experience is for you. Fostering self-compassion is one of the most important practices you can develop whether you are struggling with every-day life stressors, a difficult job, chronic illness, or a harsh internal critic. In this group you will learn the “how and they why” of self-compassion and mindfulness practice in a warm and supportive group. Group capacity is 10 and this group fills quickly!
Dates: May 16th, 30th; June 13th, 27th; July 11th and 25th
Times: You can register for either the 5:30 PM or 7:15 PM offering. Registration available here on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Dr. Anna will present and teach on a new topic for the first 30 minutes of the group, and the last 60 will be a guided group discussion around the given topic. Examples of topics covered in the series are: Self-Compassion 101, Nourishment & Self-Care, Boundaries: Honoring Our Limits, Embodiment & Identifying Feelings, Owning Your No & Assertiveness Training, Perfectionism & Shame, Letting Go & Radical Acceptance, Confidence & Personal Power, Self-Leadership: Working with Parts, and Compassionate Living from the Inside Out.
You will receive a measure of your self-compassion at the beginning and end of the series, educational handouts and readings, many concrete skills related to the topics above to implement and practice, and most importantly lots of support and encouragement!
Please feel free to contact Dr. Anna with questions or concerns via email at or by phone at (651) 309-7907.
