mentoring for Wellness Entrepreneurs
In the 15+ years I have worked in holistic health care, I have met exactly one person who entered this field because they wanted to be an entrepreneur.
Instead of being motivated by running a business, wellpreneurs are driven to help people. To make a difference in someone's life. Unfortunately, in most of the US, job opportunities for functional nutritionists, naturopathic doctors and other alternative and complimentary health care providers is limited. This forces many practitioners into private practice or independent contractor positions where they are responsible for getting clients in the door. |
I have worked as an employee, independent contractor, sole proprietor and now owner of this awesome wellness center that employs and contracts practitioners.
Mentoring Sessions
How do you know if you need a mentor?
- You don't have a plan for growing your practice beyond "if you build it, they will come"
- You have big dreams for your service offerings, but don't know how to fill your schedule/class/program
- Marketing feels like "selling" so your business plan consists of having a website and blogging (sometimes)
- You love your work but aren't quite sure how to organize yourself to be efficient and effective in your client/patient management
- You aren't quite sure how to scale your business
In support of social distancing as a measure to reduce exposure to COVID-19, all wellness mentoring services have moved online for the time being.
