As a health coach, I endeavor to provide a safe and sacred space that allows clients to explore areas of their life with vulnerability and open-mindedness. I practice client-centered care, which allows the client to come to coaching with what they need and want to focus on. I do not prescribe anything or diagnose my clients and I believe that my clients are intrinsically whole and hold their own inner wisdom. I intentionally foster a safe space for individuals in the LGBTQIA+ family.
My background experience includes working in mental health and assistant teaching. My formal education is in integrative health coaching (with national board certification credentials), psychology, music, and visual art, all of which help me provide a creative, non-judgemental, and flexible approach to care. My non-formal (or life experience) education that influences my coaching includes many years of native and vegetable gardening, beekeeping, being an aunt and godmother, cooking, herbalism, mindfulness/meditation, and yoga. All health coaching services are being held online for the time being to reduce exposure to Covid-19 To learn more about Olivia, visit her professional website.

What is Health Coaching?
Coaching provides a space to explore wellness topics and move towards a more balanced life with the assistance of a holistically trained, board certified coach. Coaches support and guide the discovery of a client’s inner wisdom and healing which can help a client make discoveries and changes that are sustainable in the long term. By cultivating mindfulness skills, connecting to a larger health vision, and supporting deep inner work, coaching fosters the growth of more intrinsically motivated, balanced, self-advocating, and self-sustainable members of the community.
Having a coach allows you to have a safe space to process and explore what you want to focus on, with the added bonus of accountability, motivation, resources, and curious questions. Tools such as positive psychology, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, deep listening, and creating a safe space all seek to cultivate and support the growth that the client feels ready for and wants to nurture.
Coaching is not based on educating or directing you to do what is “best” for you, rather, you and Olivia will dive deep into your own health journey and help you find your own inner wisdom which will ultimately lead you to personally tailored insights and change. A minimum of 4-6 sessions (scheduled anywhere from weekly to monthly depending on preference) is recommended for most clients as it gives time for coach and client to get to know each other, work on different approaches, navigate barriers/challenges, and see some forward movement.
All sessions are 50 minutes long. All services are being held virtually via video for the time-being. Sessions are open to topics that the client wants to focus on, within the parameters of the field. If a client is interested in coaching but not sure what to bring to sessions, a “structured” coaching package is available to provide a loose plan for clients who appreciate that.
Sliding Scale
I accept “pay it forward” gratuities that will be used to support sliding scale clients.
If you are interested in an alternate method of payment, I offer a sliding scale fee of $40-$150 for a 50 minute individual session. I offer this as one way to support health equity and fair access to health coaching. If this is of interest to you and/or you would like to learn more about this option, please email me.
