With all that has happened in our city, world and beyond, many of us are experiencing the effects in our body from a nervous system that is in constant overdrive. When our sympathetic nervous system is overactive, stress hormones course through our body activating our fight-flight-freeze response. During our time together in this class, I will present approachable ways to create a calming response in your body. Together we will learn tools and exercises that will activate our parasympathetic nervous system—our natural calming system.
The exercises and tools we will focus on in class can be used in your everyday life to manage stress, bring about calm and settle your body. Consistently calming your body and nervous system is your pathway to resilience and stamina in your life.
When you focus daily on activating the calming response in your body, you deactivate your fight-flight-freeze response and therefore find more harmony and balance within your body, nervous system and life.

Lynn is a highly intuitive, empathic and creative person. She creates a session that is uniquely yours. She uses her skills as a Reiki Master and her knowledge in Healing Touch and works with you to balance, harmonize and clear your energy by following your body’s unique energetic needs. She has been exploring and deepening her own understanding of self-care and wellness and believes self-care is a form of self-love. She has learned from her own journey that when she comes back to self-care and love again and again — she returns to her true and essential nature of non-judgment, joy and peace. She would like to help others to do the same as she feels called to be a practitioner and to spread love!
