Now Hiring a Part-Time Receptionist

We see the work we do from the front desk as an important part of your healthcare with us at Wellness Minneapolis. To start prioritizing your health and collaborating with our team, you first have to make an appointment!
 Part-time position, evening availability required. 

Purpose: To support and assist our integrative and holistic health care team; perform reception tasks for the clinic; maintain a clean and attractive office and retail space, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide welcoming customer service: you are the liaison of our clinic! This includes but is not limited to greeting clients, scheduling appointments, obtaining necessary documentation, troubleshooting client concerns, and general client correspondence in person, and via phone and email. 
  • Maintain client privacy and HIPAA-compliance in all communications
  • Maintain cleanliness of clinic
  • Data entry
  • Basic bookkeeping
  • Maintain attractive retail displays 
  • Fulfill supplement orders

Essential Qualifications:
  • Team player
  • Independently motivated: able to multi-task and manage time well without direct supervision
  • Friendly, respectful and outgoing demeanor
  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and via email; detail-oriented
  • Ability to navigate conflict with calm and clarity
  • Proficient computer and typing skills
  • Command of written and spoken English, ability to communicate clearly and effectively 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve run-of-the-mill technical/computer/printer/scanner issues that arise and learn to use new software, applications, and online management systems

Functional Qualifications:
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the clinic
  • Ability to operate a computer comfortably for several hours at a time
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a diverse work environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Macintosh operating systems
  • Familiarity with Quickbooks bookkeeping software
  • Strong interest in food and nutrition, functional medicine, and/or holistic/integrative medicine
  • A professional or undergraduate degree in a related field
  • HIPAA trained and knowledgeable

​Compensation: $13 per hour (training rate)
  • Merit increase opportunity after 3 months training.
